I Absolutely Love Being an Orthodontist.

I fell in love with the art and science of what dentistry and orthodontics when I was in the Air Force. The Air Force trained me to be a dental laboratory technician, and it was this experience that really inspired me. You’d see this immediate smile and self-confidence from the patient, and for me — that just felt so amazing. I knew that’s exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

So when I opened my own practice, I knew that I needed to do my own vision. I wanted the experience and the feelings during the process to be something extraordinary. What makes us different here at Comella Orthodontics is the passion for what we do and the compassion for our patients. One of the biggest compliments we get is, “Wow, I can’t believe friendly everybody is!”

I hand-pick each person based on their energy and their ability to interact with our patients. Not only is the team engaging and fun and interactive, but they’re really great at their job, and they’re always getting better — every single day!

Some of the things we do in the office besides just straightening teeth are parties for the children, our Bike Club in the summer, our Kids Car Club, and also the Wired at Night parties. It’s a really high-energy, loud-music party inside the office.

I absolutely love being an orthodontist. The feeling I get by providing a smile that’s transforming you from someone a little hesitant to smile, to somebody who can’t stop smiling — it’s one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.
