Hi! I am Trevor and I'm the Office Manager. I'm Dr. Comella's right-hand man and I love to assist all the staff in the office. I am a Shiba Inu and you can frequently find me in the office greeting you as you enter the waiting room. I have a special place in my heart for Beggin' Strips -- they are my favorite snack.

It is my goal to make you and everyone in your family as comfortable as possible as you begin the rewarding adventure of orthodontic treatment with us. I am the person who will meet and greet you at your initial consultation appointment. During this visit, I will help Dr. Comella with the clinical exam and review all treatment recommendations and financial options available. 

My husband, David, and I live in Penfield and have 4 children, Kristin, Jaclyn, John and Alex. Our youngest son, Alex, is off to Kent State this year and we are looking forward to many road trips to Ohio in the coming years.

Tricia, New Patient Coordinator

I'm happy to have joined Comella Orthodontics as the New Patient Coordinator. My role here is to field inquiries from people who are interested in braces and possibly becoming a patient of ours. I love speaking with new patients and telling them all the great things about our practice and how we can make their smile beautiful!

 I love my job because I get to interact with people all day long, making our patients feel welcome and answering any questions you may have.

Kathy, Scheduling Coordinator

You may hear my voice when you call our office and I'm the face greeting you when you arrive! I joined Comella Orthodontics in 2012. I handle the scheduling of most appointments including your treatment and follow-up appointments.

My background is in the medical & dental fields with over 15 years in both the clinical and front office areas. Having grown up outside Philadelphia, I moved to Rochester in 2000. I'm a proud Mom of three and enjoy art, dancing, skiing, tennis and cheering on my kids at all their sports and activities.

During your orthodontic care I will work a lot with you. I assist Dr. Comella by accomplishing the simple parts of treatment that he has carefully planned. I will take out your wires and evaluate your oral hygiene at every visit, and will help you if you need extra attention with your brushing and flossing technique. Oh yeah, please take 3 minutes to brush your teeth at our tooth brushing station before you sit down. This helps Dr. Comella and I see the areas that may need some extra care. I know we’ll have a great time together and would like you to call me if you have any questions about your treatment.

I grew up in Webster and graduated R.L Thomas HS in 1990. I would consider myself very social and I really enjoy outdoor activities. Throughout the summer I enjoy camping, kayaking, fishing and hiking. Rochester winters may not be enjoyed by most, but my fiancé, David, and I enjoy the snow for our snowmobile adventures throughout the state. I have also trained in Tae Kwon Do for over 10 years and have achieved a second degree black belt — so please leave your attitude out of our office...Just Kidding! If there is one thing that I have learned from my years of training it is to believe in yourself and anything can be achieved.

I have worked for Heritage Christian Services for 16 years with people with developmental disabilities and that has been so rewarding for me. I enjoy making a positive difference in someone’s life, starting with a smile.

My husband and I live in Farmington. We have 4 grown children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters. My favorite hobby is to work in my garden.

Brenda, Public Relations Coordinator

Hi, everyone! My name is Brenda and I started with Comella Orthodontics in 2012. I'm thrilled to be a part of this team! I am one of the Public Relations Coordinators. I will be working hard to help spread the good word about Comella Orthodontics.

I have recently completed my Dental Assistant Course. I also have my Bachelor's Degree from RIT in Graphic Design. I know, a crazy mix-but they are two things I am very interested in.

My husband Todd and I live in Pittsford with our 3 daughters Juliana, Sienna, and Gianna. When I'm not at work, I'm usually at the gym or at the beach watching my daughters play volleyball. I love sharing laughs with friends and family over a great meal and bottle of wine.

I grew up in Canandaigua and graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 2001. For the past 3 years I have lived in Farmington with my son, Kyle (8), and our two cats, Lazerbeam and Lucy. I like to spend a lot of time with my family and friends, and I enjoy the outdoors. People say that I'm easygoing and am easy to work with, and I look forward to meeting and working with every new patient that comes to our office.

Hello, my name is Valerie and I joined Comella Orthodontics in 2011. I can't wait to meet you at your next appointment! I'm one of Dr. Comella's clinical assistants, taking care of you as you move through our orthodontic treatment.

I grew up in the Rochester area and graduated from Greece Athena. Now, I live with my 9 year old daughter Gianna in Spencerport. Go west side! :)

When I'm not at work, I love to be outdoors doing fun activities like jet skiing, golfing and swimming. Sometimes I just like to relax with a good movie; my favorite is "The Notebook"!

During your time as a patient with us, I am one of the assistants that will help Dr. Comella work to create your beautiful smile! I joined Comella Orthodontics in 2011 and I'm super excited to be here!

I grew up in Webster and am the youngest of 5 kids. I have 4 older brothers and sisters! After high school, I went to the University of Buffalo and finished with a degree in biology. After college I did some clinical assisting at the Buffalo Dental School and in Kenya during the summer of 2011.

Now, I live in Rochester and spend my time hanging out with friends, watching Bills games (go Bills!), playing tennis, waterskiing and playing drums.

My name is Cathi and I am happy to be with Comella Orthodontics as the Financial Coordinator. My role is to assist you with all your financial needs and questions. This includes setting up the initial financial arrangements that will work within your budget and answering any financial questions you may have. I also can help with your insurance, including submitting all claim forms. I work closely with Joan and the rest of our team after your initial consultation to make your whole experience a pleasant one.

My husband Gary and I are originally from Syracuse and moved to Rochester in 1991 with his job. I have 3 children, Thomas (30), Jennifer (29), and Amanda (22).  I also have my first grandchild Ciara who is 14 months old.  We enjoy traveling, boating and enjoying our family and friends company.  I look forward to working with you!
