There's no question that financing and figuring out "how can I afford braces?" is the #1 question our patients have. We understand, and we're here for you. Our goal is to make the process simple and affordable. As you'll see below, we offer 0% monthly interest and are happy to spread out payments over a longer period of time in order to make it affordable for you!

Your First Visit

We realize that the cost of your orthodontic treatment is a big factor in your decision to move forward. Our team prides itself on offering our patients and their families a number of financing options. We are very flexible and would be happy to work with you to arrange a payment plan that fits within your budget.

The total cost of treatment varies from patient to patient, depending on the chosen type of braces and other treatment factors. We offer a free consultation to all potential patients who wish to know more about their individual situation and treatment options.

Insurance

We accept many major insurance providers' policies, assuming there is orthodontic coverage on your insurance plan. Orthodontic coverage on your dental or medical plan is highly variable. It is quite common for your insurer to offer orthodontic coverage for children, up to a specified age. Coverage for adults is less common but may be available depending on your individual policy.

Comella Orthodontics will work directly with you and with your insurance company to verify any coverage you may have. If orthodontic coverage is available, we will apply the maximum amount allowed toward your treatment cost.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Many employers offer an FSA account to their employees. This allows you to contribute a pre-determined amount to an account whose funds can only be used for medical needs. Orthodontics is an approved expense under current federal law. The amount you determine to have withdrawn is taken out pre-tax, from each of your paychecks. FSA accounts generally "reset" every year. Payment Plan

Our office proudly offers 0% financing for up to 12 months after treatment is complete, a benefit that we believe is unique to our practice. For example, if a patient takes 18 months to finish their treatment, we allow you to finance the cost of treatment over 30 months. This is a great option for families or others who wish to spread the cost over time.


Other Options & Special Payment Plans

We welcome many different types of payment and will gladly work with you to find a solution that meets your budget. Many of the initial costs, such as a down payment, can be paid with a check, credit card, cash or money order.

Comella Orthodontics will work closely with any patient or family who requires special assistance or has a unique situation that requires a customized payment solution. This can be covered during the initial free consultation, where we will review the various options.
